About us
Kids Naturally is an innovative children’s program whose mission is to inspire wonder for nature and a desire for exploration away from screens. It uses stories and creative collaboration to create a spark, allowing children the opportunity to kindle that spark through free play in nature.
Our growing organization is looking for fun creative individuals who love to be outdoors, and love working with children.
At this time, we are looking to fill the following openings:
- Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:30 pm in Newton MA
- Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:30 pm in Concord MA
- Potentially Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:30 and 3:30 to 6 in Concord MA.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating with families at the start and the end of each program day
- Supporting and encouraging collaborative play
- Observing and empowering children by allowing them to direct their own play and avoiding over-intervening except for safety and assistance with social-emotional skills
- Overseeing the logistical needs of the children and families in relation to the program
- Assisting with set-up and clean-up - may require the lifting and carrying of heavy objects
- Supporting children in developing independence
- Collaborating with coworkers to lead activities, tell stories and sing songs to engage children
- Create a brief newsletter weekly for parents describing activities and including photographs
- Opportunities for increased hours both in person and some remote work
Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must be able to work outside in all weather
- Must have experience working with children

- Energetic, engaging and patient with children
- Loves being outdoors
- Flexible, organized, prompt and responsible
- Able to work effectively with other staff, interact kindly with all the children, and communicate easily with families
- Physically able to lead and participate in outdoor activities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
