Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sandwiches, wraps, and other quick-service menu items efficiently and accurately.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, grills, toasters, and food prep tools safely and effectively.
- Manage customer orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and accurate processing of transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by following sanitation standards, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with precision.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring food safety compliance throughout your shift.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or café environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain a clean workspace at all times.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and measuring ingredients accurately.
