Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented OSP (Outside Plant) Supervisor to lead and oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of outdoor telecommunications infrastructure. This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of public infrastructure projects, with a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. As an OSP Supervisor, you will coordinate construction activities, manage field teams, and ensure adherence to technical specifications and building codes. Your leadership will drive project efficiency and uphold the highest standards of quality in a fast-paced civil infrastructure environment.
Duties
- Supervise daily construction activities related to outside plant infrastructure, including trenching, ducting, fiber optic cable installation, and pipeline work.
- Conduct thorough construction site inspections to verify compliance with plans, specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide field operations effectively.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and public agencies to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Perform quality control checks through regular construction quality inspections and data collection to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Enforce safety regulations on-site by conducting safety audits and ensuring all team members adhere to construction safety protocols.
- Review construction specifications and contracts to ensure all work aligns with regulatory requirements and project expectations.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Extensive experience working on construction sites within civil infrastructure or public works projects.
- Strong knowledge of building code analysis, construction regulations, and compliance standards specific to public infrastructure.
- Skilled in construction inspection processes including quality inspections and site inspections for ongoing projects.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Experience in construction management practices such as contract administration and data collection methodologies.
- Excellent analysis skills for evaluating project progress, identifying issues early, and implementing corrective actions effectively.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
