Coop Construction & Roofing is seeking experienced Commercial Roofing Field Superintendents to oversee roofing projects on a project-by-project basis.
The Field Superintendent serves as Coop's on-site representative and is responsible for quality control, safety, crew coordination, documentation, and project execution.
This is not an estimator or office project manager position.
Responsibilities
- Attend pre-construction meetings as required
- Verify project conditions before mobilization
- Coordinate jobsite setup and material staging
- Manage roofing crews and subcontractors
- Ensure work is completed per plans and specifications
- Enforce OSHA and safety requirements
- Conduct daily quality-control inspections
- Document progress with photos and daily reports
- Communicate project updates to Coop management
- Coordinate inspections when required
- Complete punch lists and project closeout
Requirements
- 5+ years commercial roofing field experience
- Experience supervising commercial roofing crews
- Knowledge of:
- TPO
- PVC
- EPDM
- Modified Bitumen
- Coatings
- Metal Roofing
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Strong communication skills
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred
- Reliable transportation
