Dental Hygienist – Full-Time & Part-Time Positions

Wilton Dental Care is looking for two Dental Hygienists to join our team—one full-time position and one part-time position.
We are a friendly, patient-focused general dental practice that takes pride in providing high-quality, personalized care in a warm and welcoming environment. Our office is family-oriented, and our patients range from young children to seniors, so we are looking for hygienists who genuinely enjoy working with patients of all ages.
We are seeking a friendly, motivated, dependable, and team-oriented RDH who is passionate about patient care and takes pride in their work.
What We're Looking For
- Current Connecticut RDH license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Comfortable treating both pediatric and adult patients
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
- Reliable and organized
- Comfortable using computers and digital technology
- Dentrix experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Review patient charts and the daily hygiene schedule
- Review and update medical and dental histories
- Perform comprehensive hygiene assessments
- Complete head, neck, and oral cancer screenings
- Perform periodontal charting and document findings
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Provide thorough preventive dental hygiene care
- Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene techniques
- Educate patients about nutrition and its relationship to oral health
- Discuss periodontal health and recommend appropriate home-care routines
- Communicate treatment findings and concerns with the dentist
- Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation
- Complete charting and documentation by the end of each day
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment area
- Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience

Schedule
Full-Time Position: 32–40 hours per week
Part-Time Position: Flexible schedule based on availability
Our office operates approximately 199–215 days per year, giving our team a great balance between a busy dental practice and time away from the office.
Our office hours vary by day, and we are willing to discuss scheduling options with the right candidates.
Compensation & Benefits
$60–$65 per hour, based on experience
