Our office is looking for a full or part time Dental Hygienist in our Wilton, CT office. Applicants must have a RDH license in Connecticut. Salary and hours negotiable.
Looking for a friendly motivated individual to join our dental team, with excellent communication skills, and dedication to patient care. Our office is family oriented, so you must be comfortable with patients from 2 years old to 102.
We are a paperless office, so computer skills are a must, and knowledge of Dentrix is a plus.
Job Description:
- Review charts and daily hygiene schedule.
- Perform patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, head and neck inspection, dental charting.
- Take radiographs
- Demonstrate patient appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and mouth rinse).
- Explain the relationship between healthy diet, good nutrition and oral health.
- Review documentation and charting by the end of the day.
