TX IPS has been retained by one of the region’s top-producing Farmers Insurance agencies to find a Senior Account Manager. This is not an entry-level customer service role; we are seeking a seasoned insurance professional who understands the Farmers ecosystem, possesses a high insurance IQ, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You will be managing a robust, high-value book of business, ensuring elite retention through exceptional service while aggressively capitalizing on lucrative cross-selling and up-selling opportunities. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary, high-touch point of contact for an established, high-producing book of business.
- Revenue Generation (Cross-Selling): Proactively identify gaps in coverage and round out existing accounts by cross-selling Auto, Home, Umbrella, Commercial, and Life insurance products.
- Policy Maintenance: Handle complex policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and billing inquiries with precision and speed.
- Claims Advocacy: Assist clients through the claims process, providing empathetic guidance and acting as a liaison with the corporate claims department.
- Retention Excellence: Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure high retention rates and maintain the agency’s reputation for elite service.
Requirements & Qualifications
Strict Requirement: Minimum of 2–3 years of recent experience working specifically within a Farmers Insurance Agency is required. Candidates without Farmers-specific system and product knowledge will not be considered for this senior-level role.
- Licensing: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required. An active Life & Health (L&H) license is highly preferred (or must be willing to obtain quickly).
- System Expertise: Proficient in Farmers Insurance systems (e.g., Agency Dashboard, ECMS, NextGen) and standard industry management systems.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in cross-selling, policy retention, and managing a high-volume workload.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build instant rapport with high-net-worth clients.
