Are you an experienced flooring professional who enjoys both estimating and managing projects from start to finish? We are looking for a Flooring Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing team and play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial flooring projects.
Our company specializes in healthcare flooring installations, while also completing a wide range of commercial projects involving resilient flooring, tile, and other flooring systems. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with clients, and has the technical expertise to accurately estimate and successfully execute projects.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate project estimates using Measure Square, Job Runner, and other estimating tools.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine labor, materials, and project costs.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements, assess project conditions, and develop accurate bids.
- Manage projects from award through completion, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, manage change orders, and proactively resolve issues.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure client expectations are consistently met.
- Stay informed on industry trends, products, and installation best practices related to resilient flooring and tile.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Flooring Estimator, Project Manager, or Estimator/Project Manager within the commercial flooring industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial flooring products and installation methods, including resilient flooring and tile.
- Proficiency with Measure Square or similar estimating software.
- Experience with Job Runner or comparable project management software is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
