Responsibilities:
1. Providing comprehensive legal advice to clients on matters related to estate planning, trusts, and wills.
2. Drafting various estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
3. Assisting clients with wealth transfer strategies and advising on tax implications.
4. Meeting with clients to gather information, explain legal options, and answer questions.
5. Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in trust and estate law.
Qualifications
1. A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning or a related field.
4. Extensive knowledge of trust and estate law, including tax-related matters.
5. Proven experience drafting and implementing estate planning documents.
6. Excellent negotiation, communication, and client management skills.
7. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
8. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to develop innovative legal strategies.
9. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
