Assignment Details:
- Contract runs from August 4th to May 22nd
- 37.5 hours per week, providing a steady, full-time schedule
- Caseload of approximately 40 students, spanning kindergarten through high school
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid COTA license in South Carolina, or eligibility for licensure
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience is highly valued
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and other therapists
- Ability to adapt therapy plans for a wide range of student abilities and needs
- Commitment to fostering independence and functional skills in students
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR
- Support students in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to integrate therapy within classroom activities
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintain organized records
