Executive Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications
5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including substantial leadership in production, catering, or high-volume settings-
Proven track record managing kitchen teams and delivering results under pressure

Experience overseeing multiple kitchen departments or stations

Strong understanding of food safety, allergen management, and sanitation standards

ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (or willingness to obtain)

Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and ability to learn operating systems

Experience in recipe writing, scaling, and maintaining production documentation

Maintain strong floor presence, troubleshooting issues and ensuring seamless operations

Ensure strict adherence to food safety, allergen, and sanitation protocols throughout the kitchen

Enforce standardized recipes and production systems for consistent, high-quality results

Support on-site culinary leadership for events, especially during peak season, ensuring a smooth transition from production to execution
