SUMMARY
Assists in set-up and operation of machine combining by extrusion(s) or adhesive(s) two or more layers of film, foil, or paper to produce laminated flexible packaging materials
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem from time to time.
*Food safety or quality responsibilities within job. All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action.
- Obtains production order and determines specs for impending job.
- Performs visual inspection during roll removal and pack out.
- Removes finished roll of laminated material from rewind using hoist/or walk-around lift, and transports roll to floor scales. Accurately records weights, footage count, time, etc. on roll ticket. Transfers roll to designated storage area.
- Assists Operator with job changes as prescribed
- Maintains work areas and related equipment in neat and orderly manner (sweeps, dusts, mops, scrapes using appropriate tools and agents)
- Performs other related work as required.
- All staff are responsible for reporting food safety and quality issues to those that can initiate action
- Keeps department clean and orderly by sweeping and removing trash daily.
- Operates and empties recycle bailer as well as weighs bailed material and process drool pans.

- Ensures all appropriate documentation is completed prior to any contractors coming on Adlams property.
SKILL, ABILITY AND PERSONAL CHARACTERISTIC REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and comprehend production orders.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Can safely and proficiently operate powered fork lift equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School education or G.E.D.
- Previous Laminator experience.
