Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate excellent clinical skills. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services, ensuring the well-being of patients across various settings. One patient for one Nurse. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights 7pm-7am. Same schedule weekly
Duties
- Assess and monitor patient health by performing physical examinations and collecting medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct venipuncture for blood draws and IV placements as necessary.
- Assist in critical care situations, providing immediate interventions when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in family planning discussions, offering guidance and resources as needed.
- Engage in behavioral health assessments to support mental well-being.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy in the assessment and treatment of patients.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practices.
- Experience or training in critical care nursing preferred.
- Familiarity with family planning methods is a plus.
- Proficient in medication administration techniques and protocols.
- Experience with venipuncture and other clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
