CDL Shuttle Driver-Kennecott – A.M. and P.M. shifts available
Brunel is currently searching for a CDL Shuttle Bus Driver for a Full-Time positions at Rio Tinto Kennecott’s Mine located Southwest of Salt Lake City, Utah in Herriman, UT. We are seeking an experienced, safe and reliable driver for our employee shuttle bus program. This position requires a valid CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements.
Shift available:
· 5 day work week - weekends required (set schedule below, two days in a row off)
- Full-time (12pm to 8pm p.m. shift)
- Working Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon (off on Tues/Wed)
Job Description:
As a Kennecott Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible to safely and promptly transfer passengers to and from specific locations within the mine on a 36-passenger bus. The mine operates 365 days per year. The driver will need commit to the schedule below.
Required Qualifications:
· Minimum 21 years of age
· Current CDL B or CDL A with Passenger endorsement
· Clean driving record (no more than one violation in the past 3 years)
· Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and pre-employment drug screening
· Must pass a background check
· Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience with passengers required (i.e. taxi, bus, shuttle, commercial truck, box van, etc.)
· Must be eligible to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship
· Must be able to read, write and speak English with the ability to follow precise instructions
· Must possess exceptionally safe driving habits
· Willingness to adapt to an ever-changing environment
· Desire to work with a team to achieve one goal
Offer:
· $21.00 per hour (+ depending on experience), plus $1 shift premium if working morning shift.
· Full-time employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to participate in our group benefit programs including Medical, Dental and Vision, which start on your first day of employment.

· PAID training – Must complete a 3-day MSHA training prior to start date.
· Opportunities for advancement and/or full-time status could be available in the future.
Environment: This position will be working on property of an active mine site. All employees will be MSHA trained and must adhere to strict rules and regulations while on property. Dress code enforced and strict adherence to code of conduct. Must wear long pants, long sleeved shirts, and steel toed boots. Safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses and any other PPE will be provided at site.
