Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inspector to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our quality management systems and ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards.
Duties
· Reads mill orders and ITP’s as assigned.
· Inspects each pipe for defects, damages and surface imperfections.
· Dimensional measurements as required, including Diameter, ovality, thickness, length, weight and straightness
· Records pipe data as required and submit reports to Quality
· Changes over unit
· Maintains document control / data input of product traceability and performance.
· Maintains equipment and tooling.
· Notifies Supervisor of issues
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and their application in a production setting.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Experience with data collection methods and analysis techniques related to quality management.
- Knowledge of quality systems and best practices in maintaining product integrity.
