Duties
- Must be able to drive a van
- Must have 2 years of experience in window and door installation
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install windows and doors according to blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to perform precise installations and adjustments
- Perform glass installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and fixture installation to achieve a polished finish
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials such as window frames, door units, metal studs, and related components safely
- Complete remodeling tasks including framing, metal stud framing, drywall preparation, and painting as needed
- Collaborate with team members on site to ensure safety protocols are followed during all phases of installation
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on window or door installation or related trades such as carpentry or remodeling
- Skilled in using hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Knowledge of glass installation techniques and fixture or cabinet installation processes
- Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks in a construction environment
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and schematic interpretation is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise fitment and finish
- Valid construction site experience with adherence to safety standards; handyman experience is advantageous
