Sanitation Technician / Facility Cleaner
The Sanitation Technician is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and inspection-ready facility in accordance with company standards and USDA regulations. Attendance is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize all equipment, tools, and production components in the fabrication and packaging areas on a daily basis.
- Sweep, mop, and thoroughly clean fabrication and packaging rooms to ensure they are prepared for the next production day.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of facility restrooms, break room, hallways, and sales area.
- Complete assigned nightly cleaning tasks according to established sanitation procedures and checklists.
- Perform scheduled weekly and monthly cleaning and sanitation duties as outlined in facility maintenance programs.
- Maintain compliance with USDA sanitation requirements and support successful daily pre-operational (pre-op) inspections.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-processing regulations to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and food safety standards.
- Ability to follow written procedures, checklists, and sanitation schedules.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Previous sanitation, custodial, manufacturing, or food-processing experience is preferred but not required.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the facility remains clean, compliant, and ready for daily operations.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
