Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 Base + 13% Incentive (Total Compensation $80,000 - $90,000)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Must be flexible to work Saturdays when needed)
Crown Staffing is currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Supervisor to join a growing team in Earth City, MO. This is a direct hire opportunity for a strong leader with experience in shipping, outbound operations, and warehouse supervision.
The Operations Supervisor will oversee daily shipping operations and lead a team of approximately 10 direct reports. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, the ability to hold employees accountable, and experience driving performance in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead daily shipping and outbound distribution operations
- Manage, coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance and accountability
- Ensure customer orders are shipped accurately, safely, and on time
- Monitor operational performance, including order accuracy, shipment timelines, and productivity goals
- Partner with internal teams to prioritize orders and resolve operational challenges
- Troubleshoot shipping delays, shortages, damages, and workflow issues
- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, safety standards, labeling, packaging, and documentation requirements
- Maintain inventory accuracy, product staging, and warehouse organization
- Support safety initiatives and enforce OSHA and equipment safety requirements
- Assist with labor planning, staffing assignments, and continuous improvement efforts
- Provide operational support across warehouse functions, including receiving and inventory control as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience required
- Strong background in shipping, outbound logistics, or warehouse operations
- Experience leading teams in a high-volume distribution environment preferred
- Ability to motivate employees and drive performance results
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience with WMS, ERP, or shipping systems preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse and shipping dock environment
