Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Working Supervisor to oversee plumbing/mechanical construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising daily operations, and ensuring project milestones are met efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management. The Working Supervisor will play a crucial role in maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety regulations, and managing project schedules to deliver successful outcomes.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage and lead construction crews, providing guidance and support to meet daily objectives.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to facilitate accurate execution of work.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure work meets industry standards and client expectations.
- Oversee safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and conducting regular safety inspections.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Conduct site inspections to assess progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Assist in project estimating, budgeting, and contract management activities as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of project activities, including daily reports, change orders, and safety logs.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites.
- Excellent knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling techniques and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety.
- Effective management skills with a focus on team supervision, communication, and problem-solving.
- Experience in budgeting, estimating costs, managing contracts, and ensuring quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Knowledge of pipeline construction or heavy civil projects is preferred but not required. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead complex projects while utilizing advanced construction management tools in a dynamic environment.
- Journeyman Plumbing/Gas preferred, but not required.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
