Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Montessori Primary Lead Teacher to inspire young learners in a dynamic classroom environment. This role involves guiding children through the Montessori curriculum, fostering independence, and supporting their social, emotional, and academic development. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and curriculum development to create an engaging and nurturing learning space. Responsibilities
- Lead daily classroom activities following Montessori principles to promote hands-on learning and exploration
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with Montessori standards and educational best practices
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and independence among children
- Monitor and support individual student progress through ongoing assessments and observations
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and specialists to support children’s holistic development, including special education and early intervention needs
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that promotes child welfare and development
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; Montessori certification preferred
- Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings
- Strong knowledge of childhood development theories, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, standardized testing, and early intervention programs
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Familiarity with classroom management tools and techniques for preschool-aged students
- Passion for early childhood education with a focus on fostering inclusive learning environments
