A growing truck and diesel service company in the Cleburne, TX area is looking for a dependable and professional Truck Driver to join the team. We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-focused, organized, and able to represent the company professionally while transporting vehicles, trailers, parts, and equipment as needed.
This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in being on time, communicates well, follows instructions, and understands the importance of safe driving and proper handling of customer vehicles and company equipment.
Position Summary
The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles, transporting customer vehicles, trailers, parts, and equipment, and supporting daily shop operations as needed. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe driving habits, good communication, and the ability to follow company procedures.
The driver must be dependable, professional, and able to communicate clearly with management, customers, vendors, technicians, and office staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles and equipment as assigned.
- Pick up and deliver customer vehicles, trailers, parts, and equipment as needed.
- Transport vehicles or equipment between customer locations, vendors, and the shop.
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report any vehicle damage, safety concerns, maintenance issues, or delays immediately.
- Secure vehicles, trailers, parts, and equipment properly before transport.
- Communicate clearly with management regarding pickup times, delivery times, delays, and job status.
- Assist with loading and unloading parts, supplies, or equipment when needed.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while representing the company.
- Keep company vehicles clean, fueled, and ready for use.
- Follow all traffic laws, company safety procedures, and shop policies.
- Assist with general shop or yard duties when driving work is completed or as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record.
- +2 years of Prior truck driving, delivery, towing, hauling, or vehicle transport experience.
- Ability to safely operate trucks, trailers, and related equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
- Strong communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Professional attitude with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment.
- Ability to pass any required background check, driving record check, or drug screening.
- CDL Class A Required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience hauling trailers or transporting vehicles.
- Experience working around diesel trucks, service shops, repair facilities, or fleet vehicles.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
- Experience securing loads, inspecting vehicles, and handling customer equipment carefully.
- Preferred Hazmat Endorsement, Not Required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb in and out of vehicles.
- Ability to lift and move parts, tools, supplies, or equipment as needed.
- Ability to work outside in normal weather conditions when needed.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and secure items for transport.
- Ability to perform hands-on support work around vehicles, trailers, and shop equipment.

Pay: $1,250.00 - $2,500.00 per week
