Duties
- Support bartenders by restocking bar supplies, glassware, and beverages efficiently to ensure uninterrupted service
- Assist servers by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue
- Perform regular cleaning tasks including bar cleaning, food handling areas, and general venue sanitation to meet safety standards
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, furniture rearrangement, and equipment setup with proper safety precautions
- Ensure compliance with food service bar safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cash handling and order processing accurately
- Maintain a high level of communication with team members to coordinate service flow and guest needs effectively
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, including bar experience or catering experience
- Familiarity with venue beverage service, banquet events, or hotel hospitality roles is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation, food industry standards, and restaurant operations enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS along with cashiering skills is beneficial
- Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and providing excellent customer service
- Prior roles involving food handling, barista experience or serving in hospitality settings will support your success here
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness aligns with our operational needs
