Through creative movement, Dance, Gymnastics, Cheer and Yoga, WEBBY Dance Company provides children the oppurtunity to build self-confident, creative and coordination. Classes are held weekly on-site at our partnering schools.
Job Description:
WEBBY Dance Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced dancer with leadership experience to be our Director of Operations/ Manager to oversee our franchise operations. The ideal candidate is someone with extensive dance and/or gymnastics experience, has experience in childcare and loves working with children and others and will be responsible for driving business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining brand standards. This role will also include sales experience and relationship building while working closely with School Directors to ensure satisfactory and happiness with WEBBY Dance Company and to regularly add new students to current and future classes. On-going training will be provided with our materials, props and class plans.
Job Responsibilities:
We’re looking for an administrative and sales powerhouse with big personality energy to join our team. This role is behind the scenes but is ultimately the face of WEBBY running communications, systems, and operations that keep our franchise humming — with a side of and subbing when needed. Zero dance experience required, we’ll train you on all of that! What we can’t train is being naturally organized, quick on your feet, great with people, and just… fun to be around. This role reports to the Owner and works closely with the entire leadership team on a day to day.
Position Responsibilities:
Admin and Sales (this is your main gig):
- Own inbox communication — responding quickly, accurately, and with personality
- Be the go-to resource for schools and parents on enrollment, scheduling, and logistics
- Spend adequate time with sales to grow and within accounts
- Keep rosters, records, and systems running smoothly and stay on top of details without being reminded twice
- Jump in on projects and priorities as they come up
- Represent the WEBBY brand with professionalism and warmth in every interaction
Teaching (the fun part):
- Teach classes full of tiny humans and big energy
- Sub in when the team needs backup
- Full training provided — no dance background needed, just enthusiasm
What We’re Looking For:
- Someone highly organized who can juggle a lot without dropping the ball
- Quick to learn new systems and remembers what they’re taught — we move fast around here
- Naturally warm, friendly, and great at making people feel taken care of
- Comfortable with a fast pace and a “wear a lot of hats” kind of week
- Social-media-savvy and plugged into current trends is a big plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and someone we can trust to run with things independently
- Bonus points if you bring genuine excitement about working with kids and being part of a fun, high-energy team
Job Type: Part-time with real room to grow
Schedule: Approx. 20 hours to start
