We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to support a high‑energy, athletics‑driven campus location. This role requires a proactive individual who can oversee team performance, coordinate game day operations, and engage directly with campus partners and student‑athletes. Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of clerks and sales associates, ensuring strong daily execution and a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Oversee inventory control and product flow, maintaining accurate stock levels and a clean, organized location.
- Manage hiring and interviewing processes to build a reliable, high‑performing team.
- Develop and deliver effective training programs that strengthen team capabilities and reinforce operational standards.
- Coordinate game day operations for all home football games, including staffing, product readiness, on‑site logistics, and post‑event reconciliation.
- Assist with NIL activations and student‑athlete signings, ensuring compliance, smooth execution, and strong brand representation.
- Support social media marketing efforts, including content creation, event promotion, and engagement strategies that elevate the location’s visibility.
- Conduct campus athletics outreach, building relationships with Athletics, Rec Sports, student organizations, and other campus partners to drive engagement and collaborative opportunities.
- Monitor and manage cash handling processes, ensuring accuracy, security, and adherence to company standards.
- Deliver excellent customer service, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Identify performance gaps and provide constructive coaching to drive continuous improvement.
- Uphold a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion in all aspects of the role.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a team leader or in a similar management role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- Excellent customer service abilities.
- Experience managing and training teams effectively.
- Background in inventory management and operational execution.
- Proficiency in cash handling and POS systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
- Bilingual skills are an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.77 - $16.46 per hour
