Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and safety-conscious Fuel Transport Driver to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks to transport fuel efficiently and securely to our customers. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations and handling freight will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- 3 years driving experience
- Valid CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Must have Tanker and HazMat endorsement
- Clean Drivers Record
- Double/Triple Endorsement Preferred
- Professional and courteous attitude toward co-workers, managers and general public at all times
- Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply) required
- Good paperwork skills
- Safe driving abilities
- Physically capable to lift, push, pull minimum of 50 pounds. Able to stand, bend and twist while performing job.
- Adhere to Safety Regulations at all times
- Follow delivery schedule
- Load/unload tanks
- Complete paperwork accurately
- Effective communication
- Maintain vehicle in clean and tidy condition
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker and manual transmission operation.
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially with freight delivery involving refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and freight handling techniques.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to fuel transportation and vehicle maintenance.
