Busy pediatric practice seeking highly motivated Certified Medical Assistant for full time position. Duties include, but are not limited to, patient work up/triage, supporting the medical provider during patient care, giving vaccines, various medical testing, venipuncture, and other duties as assigned by the medical provider or nurse manager. This position also requires work in the Front Office setting 2-3 days a week. Duties include, but are not limited to, patient check-in/check-out, verifying demographics and insurance information, manning multi-line phone system, collecting copay's, other duties as assigned by the Front Office Coordinator or Practice Manager.
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Medical Assistant certification
- Proficiency in medical administrative support, patient care, and EHR systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and basic life support
- Ability to perform blood sampling and accurately record vital signs

- As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will support clinical and administrative operations in healthcare settings under the supervision of licensed clinicians. You will perform patient intake, vital signs, basic life support, and direct patient care, while managing electronic health records and medical office workflows.
