Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings. Your role is crucial in creating a clean and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens as needed
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and maintaining specific areas or equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in industrial or hospitality settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects
- Familiarity with floor care techniques is a plus
