Duties
- Prepare a variety of salads, including vegetable mixes, grain bowls, and specialty dressings with precision and flair
- Follow strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure all food products are handled hygienically and safely
- Support food production by assisting with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, poaching, braising, grilling, and food handling
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the salad station and kitchen area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during high-volume periods
- Uphold food safety management practices to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in food industry settings such as restaurants or catering environments
- Excellent knife skills and familiarity with high-volume production processes
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting culinary operations
