The Diagnostic Testing Technician plays an important role in delivering exceptional patient care by performing specialized diagnostic testing that assists our providers in evaluating eye health and vision. Working alongside physicians, optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and clinical staff, the Diagnostic Testing Technician will learn to operate advanced diagnostic equipment while providing a welcoming and compassionate experience for every patient. What Would You Do?

Welcome patients and explain diagnostic testing procedures in a professional, reassuring manner.

Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging and testing.

Perform ophthalmic diagnostic testing according to established protocols and provider direction.

Accurately document testing results within the electronic medical record.

Ensure high-quality images and repeat testing as needed to obtain accurate clinical data.

Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.

Clean and disinfect equipment between patients while maintaining infection prevention standards.

Assist with patient flow to promote an efficient clinic experience.

Communicate effectively with providers and clinical team members regarding testing results or concerns.

Protect patient privacy and maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.

Additional testing may be introduced as training and business needs evolve.
What You Bring?

- High School diploma or GED, associate degree preferred

1+ years of experience in eye care preferred
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation, including the ability to use power hand tools and lift a minimum of 70 lbs.

Physical Requirements:

Wage Transparency Pay Range: $15hr-$17hr
Actual compensation offered will be based on factors such as experience, qualifications, existing certifications, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
