Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee infrastructure and construction projects from inception to completion. Duties
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating activities across multiple teams.
- Manage construction budgets by tracking costs, forecasting expenses, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, blueprints, contracts, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progression.
- Monitor construction site activities for safety compliance, regulatory adherence, and quality standards; conduct regular site inspections.
- Utilize tools like ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Construction management software to streamline documentation, reporting, and project tracking.
- Lead project meetings to review progress, address issues promptly, and adjust schedules or resources as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations and safety standards while managing risks proactively.
- Foster a collaborative team environment by managing personnel effectively and providing clear direction on project goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing large-scale or complex infrastructure projects within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, and regulatory compliance procedures.
- Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Bluebeam, ProCore, HeavyBid, Civil 3D or equivalent tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans accurately.
- Extensive experience in construction estimating, schedule coordination, cost management, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing teams in a fast-paced construction management role.
- Solid understanding of construction site operations including safety protocols and quality assurance practices.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple projects.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating among stakeholders at all levels of the project lifecycle.
