Special Opportunity to Care for a Wounded Veteran
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a wounded veteran who is a quadriplegic. This client requires total assistance with all activities of daily living, including personal care, mobility, positioning, and daily routines. A Hoyer lift is used for all transfers, and while experience with Hoyer lifts is preferred, training can be provided.
The client lives with a strong family support system, and his parents are present and actively assist with transfers and other aspects of his care. This collaborative environment helps ensure quality care while providing support to the caregiver.

What You’ll Do as an Amada Caregiver:
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, mobility, etc.).
- Help with light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer transportation and accompany clients to appointments.
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper hydration.
- Give medication reminders to promote wellness.
What We Look for in Our Caregivers:
- Dependable and trustworthy individual
- A genuine passion for caregiving and helping others.
- A positive, team-oriented mindset.
- Commitment to providing excellent care and service.
- Previous caregiving experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance.
