Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in training other technicians as well as restoring properties affected by water, fire, mold, and other damages. This position requires hands-on work and the ability to operate various tools and equipment effectively. The Lead Restoration Technician will be responsible for ensuring that properties are cleaned, restored, and returned to their original condition while adhering to safety protocols and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform water damage restoration services, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
- Conduct mold remediation processes to ensure safe and effective removal of mold from affected areas.
- On-call Rotation schedule once ever 6-8 weeks includes weekends and evening.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for restoration tasks such as demolition, cleaning, and repairs.
- Utilize industry technologies for proper job tracking.
- Execute fire restoration tasks including smoke damage cleanup and structural repairs.
- Carry out carpet cleaning services to restore carpets affected by water or fire damage.
- Assist with asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following all safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean work environment by ensuring all equipment is properly stored and job sites are left tidy.
- Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop effective restoration plans.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary follow-up actions.
Skills
- Experience with TPAs, highly desirable.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the restoration industry.
- Knowledge in technologies.
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques and best practices.
- Experience in mold remediation processes is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment.
- Understanding of fire restoration techniques and safety measures.
- Ability to perform asbestos abatement safely when required.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction.
