We are seeking an Electrical Drafter with experience in AutoCAD Electrical to join our technical team. This role is responsible for developing detailed electrical drawings for control panel manufacturing and industrial and commercial electrical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical.
- Develop single-line diagrams, control schematics, power and control diagrams, panel layouts, and bills of materials.
- Interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and client requirements.
- Support preparation of technical documentation for clients, manufacturing and construction.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and the manufacturing team to ensure design accuracy.
- Review and update drawings based on project changes.
- Maintain organized digital files and technical documentation
Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (required).
- Experience drafting industrial and/or commercial electrical plans.
- Knowledge of electrical control panel design.
- Ability to interpret applicable electrical codes and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Adobe.
Education
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related field.
- Equivalent experience will be considered.
