Mt. Holly Springs Specialty Paper, Inc. (MHSSP) is looking to fill Shift Mechanic positions, from entry-level to more experienced candidates. They will be responsible for monitoring that the boiler system is operating properly, maintaining the deionized water system, and performing other maintenance responsibilities. This is an entry level position in the maintenance department. A successful candidate will have opportunities to learn and move to other positions within our organization. We are willing to train the right person if you show enthusiasm towards this long-term opportunity and pass other requirements. MHSSP manufactures high quality dielectric paper for use in capacitors and transformers to customers all over the world. A successful candidate will have opportunities to learn and move to other positions within our organization.
Requirements:
· Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and holidays
· Good physical fitness condition and ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Ability to work closely in a fast-paced team environment and independently
· Possess time management and multitasking abilities
· Work will be performed within a manufacturing facility with some exposure to cold and heat. Precautions are taken to protect our employees with PPE and safety is a high priority.
· Basic math, science, and computer skills
· Operation of equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, hydrapulpers, refiners and winders. (Training and Certifications provided)
· Assist maintenance crew and others with machine maintenance and repairs
