Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients with precision and care.
- Assemble pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications, maintaining consistency in quality.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas to enhance customer offerings.
- Support the team during busy hours by managing multiple orders while maintaining high standards of food presentation.
- Follow all health regulations related to food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with various kitchen tools are essential for efficient pizza assembly.
- Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating attention to special dietary needs.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
