Bear Buddies Child Development Center is a privately owned organization founded in 1991 for the primary purpose of providing high-quality developmental childcare, which offers a nurturing, loving environment, and developmental curriculum for young children.

Requirements:
- Driver’s License
- 18 +
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1st Required book for WI licensing.

Responsibilities:
- Working with children from ages of 6 weeks to 10 years old.
- Display personal and professional characteristics which facilitate effective interactions with children and adults.
- Model behaviors of dignity and respect for all children and staff.
- Assists the teacher with all aspects of the program including, but not limited the following:
- Planning curriculum in detail for assigned classes.
- Implements daily program for assigned classes.
- Decorate room with bulletin boards, pictures, children’s artwork, and other appropriate items.
- Make curriculum materials to enhance learning environment.
- Prepare snacks and sit with children while they eat.
- Keep classroom, storage and work areas, and bathroom clean, neat, and orderly.
- Attend workshops, in-service, and staff meetings as part of professional growth.
- Supports center program, policies and activities planned to enhance the family unit of the center and its clients.
- May assume temporary responsibilities of the teacher in his/her absence.
- Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with adults and children.
- Knowledge and skill in the field of early childhood education.
- Ability to develop good relationships with people.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers.
- Report to Director any special needs, problems, and/or suspected cases of child abuse.
- Helps with all emergencies.
- Will be in proper uniform upon signing in until signing out at the end of the day.

Hours, Compensation and Location:
- Full-time position
- Monday – Friday
- Wages up to $21.00 per hour depending on education level.
