Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated, passionate, and driven BCBA student to join our Katy Program! Essential Speech and ABA Therapy is an early childhood private therapy program for young children with Autism. We offer Speech, ABA, and Occupational Therapy all under one roof! The team is very hard-working and close knit and we look forward to bringing in a new Case Manager to our therapy family!
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
● Provide oversight for ABA Therapy and programming procedures for all children on your caseload up to 12
● Participate in collaboration meetings for each child with SLP and OT
● Provide assistance on floor when needed
● Maintain and submit at least 10 billable hours per week
● Assist in the intake process by:
● Conducting evaluations for new children on your caseload under remote BCBA’s supervision
● Initial parent meetings under BCBA's supervision
● Plan, coordinate, and assist with gathering new patient materials
● Load goals and teaching instructions into Central Reach Data platform-with help of BCBA supervisor
Maintain existing caseload by:
● Under BCBA’s supervision, re-evaluate and send treatment plan for each child no later than 2 weeks prior to authorization end date
● Inform and train RBTs of new/updated goals
● Provide supervision to each child on caseload in accordance to company and insurance mandates (non-billable as case manager)
● Conduct Parent trainings/progress updates on a weekly-monthly basis under BCBA supervision - maintain open communication
● Conduct assessments as needed (Skill Acquisition Assessments/Behavioral
Assessments/Preference Assessments)
● Review skill and behavior data and make adjustments as needed under the supervision of BCBA.
● Ensure that all data is graphed or filed (organized for use when requested)
● Request training in teaching methods when needed for clients
Maintain and Support RBT staff by:
● Conduct ongoing trainings and education on a monthly(bi-monthly) basis
● Reach out for training support as needed
● Serve as a resource for questions and maintain an open door policy
● Supervise and provide feedback as needed
● Inform floor RBTs about current and new patient programs
● Supervise each RBT on your caseload and provide clinical feedback
● Collect IOA Data (Treatment/Intervention Integrity) and provide training as needed
● Provide reinforcement and corrective feedback as needed
● Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties for this role
