What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and control authorized access to buildings and restricted areas in accordance with post orders and client policies.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns, observations, and actions taken.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting irregularities and helping to deter unauthorized access, trespassing, and other security-related issues.

Communicate with site personnel, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and visitor records throughout each shift.
Minimum Requirements:

A tuberculosis test and MMR vaccinations are required in accordance with COLA DPSS/DHS requirements.

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
