The University of Tennessee Knoxville, College of Social Work, through the Social Work Office of Research and Public Service (SWORPS) is accepting applications for a TCSEPP Fatherhood Coordinator for the Tennessee Child Support Employment & Parenting Program (TCSEPP). Within SWORPS, the Fatherhood Coordinator delivers direct services to fathers in their assigned region. This role focuses on client outreach, group facilitation, resource navigation, and partnership development. The Fatherhood Coordinator works under the supervision of the TCSEPP Fatherhood Program Manager to empower fathers through education and support.
This is a grant-funded position and is contingent upon the continued funding of the grant.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Two years of customer/client direct service (case management) experience. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, three additional years of experience can be substituted.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Must have valid driver’s license, automobile at their disposal, and a current automobile liability policy with continuous coverage.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without need now or in the future for sponsorship for employment-based visa status.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Experience working with fathers, non-custodial parents and/or Employment programs; Experience working with community groups and/or social service organizations.
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to positively interact with community partners including child support, court, attorneys, etc.
- Ability to promote the program to potential participants, partners, and employers.
- Advanced skills with MS Office.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Experience with data management systems.
- Knowledge of child support systems and their impact on families.
Knowledge of fatherhood programing and evidence-based interventions.

Work Location
- This position is remote and requires travel throughout West Tennessee . Applicants must live within West Tennessee .

- Anticipated hiring range: $50k
