Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs with precision.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as a X-rays, Casting, applying wound care dressings and supporting procedures.
- Support patient care by preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring a clean environment aligned with safety standards.
- Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to accurately document patient information, ICD coding, and treatment details. (Mod Med experience a plus)
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions, coordinating appointments, and facilitating smooth patient flow in the office
Experience
- Prior experience working in a medical office/ podiatry office is highly preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, ICD coding
- Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and patient management is essential (Mod Med Experience preferred but not required).
- Previous roles involving X-ray support or medical-surgical procedures will strengthen your application (but not required).
- Certification/ registration for medical assistant isn't required but preferred.
