Designs and manufactures industrial machinery and custom automation solutions. We’re expanding our machine shop and looking for a Machinist who can run lathe + milling operations and help us build high-quality parts for real production equipment.
If you like hands-on work, precision, and seeing your parts go into finished machines, you’ll fit in well here.
What You’ll Do
- Set up and operate manual and/or CNC lathes and mills (based on your experience)
- Read and work from mechanical drawings/prints, dimensions, and tolerances
- Machine parts from materials like stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and industrial plastics
- Use measuring tools: calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc. to verify accuracy
- Perform rework, adjustments, and fit-up for machinery components
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area and take care of shop tools/equipment
- Collaborate with engineering/fabrication to improve quality and efficiency
What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves)
- Experience as a Machinist / Lathe Operator / Mill Operator in a machine shop
- Comfortable with lathe work and milling
- Ability to read prints and work with tolerances
- Reliable, detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work independently
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- CNC experience (setups, offsets, basic program edits, tooling)
- Experience with threading, boring, keyways, reaming, etc.
- Assembly/mechanical fit-up, troubleshooting, or repair experience
- Welding experience (bonus)
