Ohio Clean Cans is Cincinnati's garbage can cleaning service. We bring the truck to the curb, the cans get cleaned, sanitized, and deodorized, and the customer never has to deal with a dirty can again.
We're looking for one person to fill two part time roles: keeping our trucks and equipment running, and running routes with the crew. If you can turn a wrench and you don't mind working outside, this is a good fit.
IMPORTANT: We need a mechanic who has worked on TRUCKS, not cars only. We run medium duty gas work trucks like the Chevy 4500. All gas, no diesel.
THE MECHANIC SIDE
Maintain and repair our medium duty gas work trucks.
Service and troubleshoot the pressure washing rigs, water pumps, and tanks.
Handle routine upkeep so trucks stay on the road.
THE DRIVING AND CLEANING SIDE
Drive one of our trucks on scheduled routes around greater Cincinnati (Hamilton, Warren, Clermont, and Butler counties).
Clean, sanitize, and deodorize garbage cans at the curb.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Hands on experience working on trucks, not cars only. Medium duty gas work trucks like the Chevy 4500 are what we run.
No diesel certification needed. Our fleet is all gas.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. No CDL required.
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
Reliable. Routes run on garbage day and the schedule matters.
PAY AND SCHEDULE
$26 per hour for mechanic work.
$18 to $20 per hour for route and can cleaning work, depending on experience.
Part time. Weekday work, no Saturdays.
Shorter routes mean shorter days. You work the hours the work needs.
You accrue paid time off.
