We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Life Skills Mentor - Job Coach to empower individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, and other social service needs to achieve their personal and professional goals. In this vital role, you will serve as a supportive guide, helping clients develop essential life and job skills. Provide job coaching. Responsibilities
- Provide personalized coaching and mentoring to clients with disabilities, enhance their employment readiness and life skills.
- Build positive, supportive relationships with clients in both group and 1:1 settings.
- Communicate effectively with the Client Case Manager through verbal and written updates.
- Support community engagement through outings, recreation, volunteer opportunities, and mobility training.
- Assist with personal care needs as outlined in each client’s plan.
- Transport clients when eligible and assigned.
- Provide public transportation training and accompany clients into the community for educational and volunteer opportunities. *
Experience
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in social services or workforce development settings.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring within diverse communities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
