This full-time, onsite position offers the chance to work across two elementary settings, providing transformative speech therapy services to support students’ communication growth.
In this role, you’ll manage a caseload comprised of 25 students with Speech-Language Impairment (SLI) requiring dedicated case management, while also delivering impactful services to an additional 35 students—totaling approximately 60 remarkable young learners. Desired qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license in Arizona, or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities
- Commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and effective learning environment
Key responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication needs for elementary-aged students
- Regularly document student progress and maintain thorough, confidential records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide case management for SLI-only students and deliver direct therapy for a broader caseload
- Engage in school-based meetings, follow district policies, and contribute proactively to student success
