The Philadelphia office of Saltz Mongeluzzi Bendesky has an exciting opportunity for a Plaintiff’s Firm Mass Tort Paralegal.
Responsibilities
- Keeps cases organized by establishing and organizing files; monitoring calendars; meeting deadlines; documenting actions; inputting information into file database and case management software; confirming case status with attorney.
- Claims Administration - Disbursement of funds to clients
- Entrusted to receive and manage new client intakes for individual client litigation.
- Helps develop cases by maintaining contact with people involved in the case.
- Keeps clients informed by maintaining contact.
- Supports case preparation by preparing case summaries and materials for mediation conferences; monitoring and obtaining discovery responses; organizing materials for team case review.
- Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Orders medical records, medical billing, in preparation for litigation.

Job Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- 3-4 years experience with Mass Tort or other Personal Injury matters.
- Excellent organizational, time management, research and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be a self-starter
- The ability to work independently.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Case management software experience is also a plus.
