The ideal candidate will be outgoing, detail oriented. personable, and have a positive attitude. This is a fee for service (FFS) multi-specialty dental practice, located on the Scripps Memorial Campus in La Jolla. Our award winning state of the art paperless practice has all the latest technology, including digital impressions, digital x-rays, and lasers. Exceptional customer service and communication skills are a must!
Our team is enthusiastic, friendly, compassionate, and committed to the mission of delivering high quality general, specialty, and cosmetic dentistry. Hours are Monday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday - Thursday 7:15 AM - 5:30 PM, and Friday 7:15 AM - 3:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
- Has at least 3 full years of experience
- Ability to communicate effectively and have a team oriented attitude
- Greeting Patients and making them feel welcome and comfortable
- Managing all lab cases
- Ensuring that all OSHA guidelines are being met
- Delegating duties to ensure all daily tasks are being completed
- Reviewing and ordering all back office supplies
- Discussing Providers recommended treatment and creating value
- Work with Digital Patient Charts and checking medical history
- Setting up and breaking down restorative and surgical room set ups
- Coordinating multiple appointments for patients
- Sterilizing Instruments, restocking rooms, and cleaning equipment
- Being a brand ambassador for the business by building relationships
Qualifications:
- Equivalent to High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and specified training courses mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration
- Specialty experience (Preferred)
- California Registered Dental Assistant Licensure (Preferred)
