Part-Time Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

This is a unique opportunity to provide meaningful, patient-centered psychiatric care while helping expand access to an innovative treatment option for individuals living with treatment-resistant depression.
This role is ideal for an NP or PA who enjoys structured outpatient care, values meaningful patient interaction, and wants to develop expertise within a rapidly evolving area of psychiatric treatment. You will typically support small patient cohorts and maintain a consistent weekly schedule, allowing you to build familiarity and trust with both patients and partner-site teams. Our client partners with psychotherapy practices to establish welcoming, community-based Spravato treatment locations. Rather than working in a traditional hospital or medical clinic environment, you will provide care within thoughtfully designed therapy practices where the clinical experience is intended to feel calm, comfortable, and personal.
As a Spravato Treatment Clinician, you will conduct psychiatric intake evaluations, determine treatment eligibility, prescribe Spravato when clinically appropriate, and provide in-person monitoring during scheduled dosing sessions. Patients self-administer the medication and remain onsite for at least two hours of observation in accordance with established REMS protocols.
You will not be expected to learn the program alone. The organization provides a structured onboarding experience that includes self-paced education, systems training, Spravato and REMS instruction, shadowing, supervised intake experience, and support during your initial monitoring sessions. You will also have access to an experienced clinical community, ongoing education, mentorship, and recurring collaboration with senior providers.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric intake evaluations and determine patient eligibility for Spravato treatment.
- Prescribe Spravato when clinically appropriate and complete supporting documentation for insurance authorization.
- Provide onsite clinical oversight during scheduled Spravato dosing sessions.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, safety, anxiety, dissociation, and other potential clinical changes.
- Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and follow established escalation protocols.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Coordinate with internal operations teams and partner practices to support a smooth patient experience.
- Maintain a calm, safe, and supportive environment for small patient cohorts.
- Follow all required Spravato REMS, clinical, documentation, and site-specific procedures.
- Participate in training, continuing education, clinical collaboration, and provider-development opportunities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in PA.
- Current and unrestricted DEA registration.
- Willingness to associate or register a DEA address with designated partner locations when required.
- Experience conducting psychiatric evaluations, prescribing psychiatric medication, or supporting behavioral-health patients is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable monitoring patients and responding to changes involving blood pressure, anxiety, dissociation, or other clinical symptoms.
- Strong clinical judgment, documentation practices, and attention to established protocols.
- Reliable and able to maintain a consistent weekly schedule.
- Available for approximately 6–8 hours per week across 3–4 scheduled session blocks.
- Willing to provide at least one or two evening or weekend sessions each week.
- Able to travel to an assigned partner practice within the Philadelphia area.
- Willing to complete required systems, clinical, Spravato, and REMS-related training.
- Experience with ketamine, esketamine, TMS, infusion therapy, psychiatric monitoring, or other innovative mental-health treatments is preferred but not required.

Pay: From $90.00 per hour
