At HOMEstretch, we help homeowners and real estate agents transform homes into clean, market-ready spaces that stand out and sell faster. From painting and flooring to landscaping, home clear-outs, and cleaning, we provide one streamlined solution to help properties make the best possible first impression.
Over the past two years, HOMEstretch Fort Wayne has become a trusted partner to local real estate agents and home sellers throughout the area. The homes we work on consistently hit the market looking their best, appeal to what today’s buyers are looking for, and often sell faster and for a higher sale price. As our reputation and referral network continue to grow, we’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Community & Business Development Specialist to join our team.
Position Overview
This is a relationship-driven growth role that combines real estate agent outreach, homeowner consultations, and client support.

The right person will be comfortable initiating conversations, following up consistently, asking for appointments, and helping move clients from interest to action.
Success in this position will be measured by activity, relationships, consultations scheduled, consultations completed, quotes delivered, and closed sales. There will be weekly and monthly goals for calls, agent outreach, consultations, follow-up, and revenue.

What You’ll Do
- Build Real Estate Agent Relationships- Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, brokerages, and referral partners throughout the Fort Wayne area. You will regularly reach out to agents through phone calls, texts, emails, office visits, presentations, and networking opportunities.
- Generate New Opportunities - Outbound prospecting is a major part of this role. You will make calls, introduce HOMEstretch to new agents and partners, follow up with past and current referral sources, and consistently work to create new consultation opportunities.
- Schedule Consultations - Help turn conversations into action by scheduling in-home consultations with homeowners and real estate agents. You will be expected to stay organized, follow up quickly, and keep the consultation pipeline moving.
- Meet With Homeowners - Conduct in-home consultations with sellers and agents to understand the goals for the property, walk the home, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend services that can help the home become clean, updated, market-ready, and more appealing to buyers.
- Prepare Recommendations and Quotes - Help clients understand the best options for their home, including painting, flooring, landscaping, clear-outs, cleaning, and cosmetic updates. You will develop service recommendations, help prepare quotes, and communicate next steps clearly.

Who You Are
You are a natural relationship-builder who enjoys meeting people, starting conversations, and creating opportunities. You are not afraid to pick up the phone, walk into a real estate office, introduce yourself, and follow up until the next step is clear.
You are proactive, energetic, organized, and highly responsive. You can manage multiple conversations at once, keep track of follow-ups, schedule appointments, and help clients feel confident and cared for throughout the process.
You are comfortable with weekly and monthly goals and understand that relationships, consultations, and sales are all connected. You enjoy helping people, but you are also motivated by growth, results, and moving the business forward.
A great fit for this role is someone who is:
Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations daily
Confident scheduling consultations and asking for the next step
Able to build trust quickly with both real estate agents and homeowners
Professional and comfortable walking through homes with clients
Interested in real estate, home improvement, design, renovations, or before-and-after transformations
Organized enough to manage calls, appointments, quotes, and follow-up
Motivated by goals, accountability, and visible results
Positive, dependable, punctual, and responsive
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Strong in person, over the phone, and through text/email
Real estate, home services, sales, hospitality, recruiting, marketing, or customer service experience is a plus, but attitude, energy, communication, work ethic, and follow-through matter most.
This Role May Be a Great Fit If...
You enjoy being out in the community, meeting people, making calls, following up, and creating new opportunities.
You like helping homeowners and agents solve problems.
You are energized by a mix of relationship-building, consultations, project recommendations, and measurable goals.
You are comfortable being held accountable to weekly and monthly activity and revenue expectations.
This Role Is Probably Not the Right Fit If...
You are looking for a mostly administrative, behind-the-scenes, or event-planning position.
You do not enjoy making phone calls or initiating conversations with new people.
You are uncomfortable with goals, follow-up, or asking for the next step.
You prefer a slower-paced role with the same routine every day.
