SummaryExciting Events is seeking a Fabrication Apprentice with a creative eye and attention to detail to join our fabrication team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of materials and techniques, contributing to the creation of some of the most remarkable entertainment products in the world. Using advanced methods of fabrication, you will take raw materials and work every process to achieve the customers desired result. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in various fabrication processes, including welding, woodworking, electrical wiring, and painting, while learning from experienced team members to grow quickly into a new career.
Job ResponsibilitiesMeasurement & Quality Control: Verify measurements and dimensions of materials using tools such as measuring tapes, calipers, and squares.
Project Understanding: Collaborate with team members to review and comprehend drawings and specifications before starting fabrication work. Document each step to ensure precise project completion.
Tool Operation: Operate a variety of tools, including welders, grinders, drill presses, table saws, steel rollers, flame torches, and hand tools, to cut, bend, grind, and adjust materials according to specifications.
Jig & Template Creation: Design and create jigs and templates for repetitive tasks to maintain consistent work quality.
Quality Assurance: Inspect parts and finished projects to ensure they meet the highest quality standards. Consistently maintains a clean and organized work area.
Attendance & Compliance: Maintain punctual attendance and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
QualificationsRequired:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and work specifications.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- A motivated attitude, readiness to learn, and willingness to be mentored.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds.
Preferred:
- Welding experience.
- Knowledge of 12V automotive power
