Farm Hand/Tractor Driver
Southern Hill Farms is seeking a dependable and motivated Farm Hand / Tractor Driver to join our farm operations team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, operating farm equipment, and helping maintain a first-class agritourism farm.
Responsibilities:
· Operate tractors and other farm equipment safely and efficiently.
· Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems.
· Assist with the construction and maintenance of barns, fences and farm structures.
· Perform general farm maintenance and groundskeeping
· Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Follow all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
· Valid driver’s license required.
· Ability to pass a background check.
· Must be able to speak, read and understand English.
· Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in outdoor conditions.
· Experience operating tractors or agricultural equipment preferred.
· Basic mechanical or construction experience is a plus.
