Security Officer Patrol Monitor
As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Niles, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service, while bringing Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrance areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.

Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance issues according to site guidelines.

Support loss prevention and store operations by assisting with security-related presence, directing foot traffic, and responding to calls for service in a professional manner.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
